Dave Pehling and Steve Allred will be kicking off the 2020 Knapping Year with the first official PSK knap-in of the year. Jim Dennis will be moving before 2020 and close neighbor, Steve, readily agreed to co-host the event at his shop next door in Granite Falls. This knap-in has been for years the best cure for Cabin Fever! Typically features chili (or some sort of edibles) it draws both the hardcore PSK knappers as well a fair crop of noobies. So come on out and help us start the new year in style at our new location!

It will be at Steve Allred’s house in Granite Falls as he has plenty of parking and a large walled-in workshop that we can heat and use to break rocks. The fun starts about 9:30 or 10...until late afternoon.

Directions

From North or South
Take I-5 to Everett.
Take exit 194 for US-2 E toward Snohomish/Wenatchee
Use the left 2 lanes to merge onto WA-204 E/State 204 E toward Lake Stevens
Merge onto WA-204 E/State 204 E
Continue on WA-204 towards Lake Stevens
Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto WA-9 N
Turn right onto WA-92 E
At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on WA-92 E
At the 2nd traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on WA-92 E
Turn LEFT onto JORDAN RD, just before you get into Granite Falls.
At the next traffic circle, take the 2nd exit to remain on Jordan Rd
After crossing the Stillaquamish River bridge, take the 4th drive (I think) on the left. It's just past the road from a large "turn-out" and Jim D.’s driveway. There will probably be a PSK sign on the left. (Mapquest and Google maps have different directions and will also get you to the site).

I'll have a PSK sign out on the left so you shouldn't miss it. If you go over a mile past the bridge, you've gone too far. If you need directions while driving, I'll have my cell phone on -- 425-327-8034
